Pro-AVIT Terms of Service
By using this website and placing an order with Pro-AVIT, you agree to these Terms of Service.
These terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.
1. About Pro-AVIT
Pro-AVIT supplies new, refurbished and previously used IT, audio visual, networking, server, storage and specialist technology equipment.
Product condition and testing status are stated on individual product listings where applicable.
2. Product Information
We aim to provide accurate product titles, descriptions, photographs, specifications, compatibility information and condition details.
For refurbished, used and specialist equipment, cosmetic appearance may vary and signs of previous use may be present.
Customers should review the product description, photographs, model number, part number and compatibility information before ordering.
If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for your equipment, please contact us using the Message us function before placing your order.
3. Testing and Condition
Products may be supplied in a range of conditions, including New, Very Good, Good, Fair and For Spares or Repairs.
Testing status, where applicable, may include Fully Tested, Power On Tested, Partially Tested, Untested or Fault Identified.
The applicable condition and testing status will be shown on the individual product listing where available.
Products sold as faulty, untested or for spares or repairs are sold on that clearly disclosed basis. This does not remove any statutory rights relating to goods being materially different from their description.
4. Prices and VAT
Prices shown on the website are the prices payable for the product unless otherwise stated.
Where applicable, VAT is included in the customer-facing selling price.
Any ex-VAT figure displayed on a product page is provided for business reference and should be treated as an approximate breakdown of the VAT-inclusive selling price.
Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown separately at checkout.
5. Orders
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected goods.
Your order is accepted when we confirm the order and begin processing it.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order where, for example:
- an item is no longer available;
- an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred;
- payment cannot be authorised;
- fraud or misuse is suspected;
- or we are unable to deliver the item to the requested destination.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the amount paid will be refunded.
6. Payment
Available payment methods are shown at checkout.
Customers must ensure that they are authorised to use the payment method provided.
7. Delivery
Delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
Some large, heavy, fragile or specialist products may require pallet freight, specialist courier delivery or collection.
8. Returns and Cancellations
Returns and cancellations are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.
We currently offer a 30-day return request period from delivery.
Return requests should be submitted through our Start a Return portal.
Eligible cancellation requests may also be submitted through the customer’s Shopify account where available.
Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer cancellation, refund, repair or replacement rights.
9. Change-of-Mind Returns
Where a customer returns an unwanted product under our return policy, the customer is normally responsible for arranging and paying for suitable return shipping.
Returned products must be handled reasonably and returned with all relevant parts, accessories and packaging where applicable.
A reasonable deduction may be made where permitted by law if the value of the goods has been reduced by handling beyond what would normally be necessary to inspect them.
10. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
f an item is faulty, damaged in transit, incorrect or materially not as described, please submit a return request through our Start a Return portal or contact us through Message us.
We will review the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.
This may include repair, replacement, refund or return arrangements depending on the circumstances.
11. Compatibility
Many Pro-AVIT products are components, replacement parts or specialist equipment.
Customers are responsible for checking compatibility with their intended system or equipment before purchase.
Any compatibility guidance we provide is based on the information reasonably available to us and does not replace the manufacturer’s own technical documentation.
12. Availability
Stock levels may change without notice.
Where a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate refund or alternative where agreed.
13. Website Use
You must not misuse this website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation or use it for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
Website content, branding, product photography, graphics and original written material belonging to Pro-AVIT may not be reproduced commercially without permission.
14. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability relating to death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, faulty goods, goods that are not as described, or other statutory consumer rights.
To the extent permitted by law, Pro-AVIT is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into.
For business customers, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential business losses unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time.
The terms applying to an order are those in force when that order is placed.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights that may apply to customers elsewhere in the United Kingdom.
17. Contact
For questions about products, orders, returns or these terms, please use the Message us function on the Pro-AVIT website or email ShopifyProAVIT@pro-avit.com
